This morning we headed into Milwaukee to do some shopping and then came back to the RV to wait for another one of my Air Force buddies to arrive. I was stationed with Ernie Reid at Loring Air Force base in northern Maine back in the 1974-1977 time frame and we have stayed in close contact with him ever since. We saw him twice last year, once when we were camping at Wright-Patterson Air Force base when we attended a Cincinnati Reds baseball game together.
Then on our return trip we met up in northern Ohio and attended a Cleveland Indians baseball game together.
Today he met up with his youngest daughter Elaine here and we will all attend the Milwaukee Brewers baseball game tonight where they will host the Chicago Cubs.
So Ernie and Elaine arrived at the campground about 1600 hrs and then they followed us to our daughter Michelle's house. Ernie was with us in Maine when Michelle, better known as "Goober", was born. We dropped our dog off at Michelle's and then carpooled with Ernie and Elaine to Miller Park.
I bought our baseball game tickets including a ticket to park in advance, so we proceeded to the general parking area east of the stadium. Once parked, as you enter the ballpark you pass through an archway so was paused for a picture:

We headed into the Miller Park and found the guest services desk so Doreen could get her MLB passport book stamped. This is our 13 park after 8 last year and 5 this year. We will also visit the Twins stadium next week before the end of this year's trip.

These are famous "obstructed view" seats in the last row of section 422 in the upper deck due to structural steel beams. Ticket price is $1.00 There is a statue of Bob Eucker, better known as "Mr Baseball" who played major league baseball and now is the Milwaukee Brewers radio announcer.

The game was fantastic! Good baseball and a great outcome with the Cubs beating the Brewers in 10 innings 5-3. We stopped by and picked up Liberty at Keith and Michelle's, said goodnight to Ernie and Elaine and headed back to the RV. It was after midnight by the time we took a quick shower and got to bed.
Tomorrow we will have breakfast with Ernie and Elaine in Racine, and then return to the RV to pack things up in preparation for our Saturday morning departure.
