This morning at 0854 hrs Eastern time we said goodbye to carl and Tonya Panveno and departed their Lake of the Clouds Resort and drove south and east about 144 miles to the Antigo WI Lake RV Park, our 26th campground on this trip. The drive down was uneventful, actually relaxing as it was fairly short and the scenery was great. The trees are turning.

Back in Wisconsin! |
This campground is a little jewel! Full hookup, nice sites, lush green grass, quiet and only $20/day! We are on the end site, so no neighbors out our door, plus we have a fire ring right here and free-will donation for the campfire weed which is located right here also. Slightly beyond that is the bathroom/shower facility also.
We made contact with Greg and Diane Noskowiak who live here. Greg and I were stationed together at Loring Air Force Base way up in the northern tip of Maine back in the mid-70's. Greg met Diane up there and they were married and returned to where Greg was from, Antigo WI. We have stayed in contact ever since along with our other Maine-iac Air Force friends!!
Was great to see Greg again. He is retired so we plan to get together then next couple days and do some fishing. He has a fishing boat and is intimately familiar with the fishing and hunting in the area. After Greg left we drove to Mills Fleet Farm and got a non-resident fishing license. Looking forward to it!
